New Zealand
We took a drive through the Takaka Hills in late March and were amazed at the views from the top. You can see for ever - well for little sheep with short legs it looked like forever. The road was very twisty and windy and lined with ferns and greenery. Allow extra time when travelling this way as the average safe speed on the hills is about 60 kmh. Of course we carried on to Takaka after traversing the hills and loved this little town. The main street is full of colour and life and we enjoyed a great coffee at The Wholemeal Cafe.
